Tours

Sholan Farms offers tours of our seasonal operations to schools and other groups on a
first-come first-serve basis. Reservations are made for groups of up to 50 people starting
the first week in September running through October 31st. Tour hours are 9AM to 5PM
Monday-Friday. On a tour, you can expect to see the 169 plus acres of farmland which
includes orchards, meadows, and forests. All children receive complimentary apple cider
and a healthy snack.

The cost per student is $5.00/ and includes age-appropriate story, wagon ride, picking a
1/4 peck of apples, a snack, and coloring book and if available, a small pumpkin would
be an additional $1.00. This fee is for participants on the tour. Teachers and chaperones
are admitted free. Please be sure the children wear clothing appropriate for the weather:
e.g., boots, rain gear, jackets, hats, etc. In addition, we recommend closed toe shoes.

We make every effort to conduct our tours rain or shine. However, the Friends of
​Sholan Farms reserve the right to cancel any tour due to severe weather.
In this case we will notify you by 8:00AM the morning of the tour to try to reschedule.
